About Us

Hickory Meadows was established in 1980 as a small, individually owned woodworking shop. The owner, Rick Downey, fabricated custom cabinetry, furniture, countertops and all types of millwork. In 1986, Hickory Meadows, became an authorized dealer fabricator & installer for Dupont Corian. Rick has studied architectural drafting and kitchen design and in 1990 was accepted into the National Kitchen and Bath Associations Society of Certified Kitchen Designers.

As business increased Hickory Meadows searched for high quality cabinet manufacturers that would meet the original mission statement of Hickory Meadows: a promise of quality and service. Hickory Meadows is proud to be an authorized dealer for Quality Custom Cabinetry And Signature Custom Cabinetry. Our show room features the latest trends in custom cabinetry, including Contemporary, Shaker, English Country, French Country, Old World and more.
